Probably the most unusual career I've ever heard was a policewoman by one UCLA former gymnast, Carol Ulrich.
Thanks for that link Vegas. That is an unusual career indeed, but it's probably more of a hobby since you can't really make money doing this except at
the highest levels of the sport (nationals) and then you hope for lots of endorsements; and getting hired as a fitness trainer on a corporate basis..
She's looking very good. Very cool of her to pursue this sport. It requires so much time and discipline to get the results she has. I wish her much
success.  That coloring on her...

Chelsey was always a buff gal as a gymnast and now that she is focused on bodybuilding the results are eye-popping, even if you are not a fan of
bodybuilding...

I will say the blonde hair is shocking to me, I think Chelsey looked much better as a brunette.

And then there are a few of us who are stay at home moms.  We have a flight attendent, a couple of univ. professors and many in marketing.  I can't think of anything "unusual" in terms of professions.  I wish more people contributed to this thread.;

Wouldn't it be great if people contributed to this thread? I bet we'd be surprised to learn what some ex-NCAA gymnasts are doing in their post graduate lives.

I think the word "unusual" means different things to different people. A lot of it is geographical or the nature of the school. At UCLA, they don't have any agricultural type of majors. But instead, they have some film and music production type classes, and for film, even more renown is the USC program with George...
