Registered Member Posts: 25 01/21/12 09:48 PM	The meet experience is not there. The scoring is very low, and when I went there were all of 600 people. That was last year, early season, and they were working hard to improve that, so maybe it's better now? There won't be much of a crowd, though, and it's a bit odd to see the home team getting lowball scoring. Just be prepared for OU and Bama to get super tight scores. A little frustrating, when RQS counts so much. On the plus side, you can sit anywhere you darn well please, and the prizes are great. IIRC, they were giving away round trip airfare for two, among other things.

Registered Member Posts: 66 01/22/12 10:16 AM Fantastic Gym Fan	When Alabama came to OU in 2010, we had over 2500 fans in attendance at the meet. We averaged over 2000 fans per meet last year. Like you mentioned, the community supports OU Women's Gymnastics by offering great prizes at the meets. The alumni and community support is top notch. The atmosphere is fun, our fans our great! And yes, all of our seats at regular season competitions are general admission. We don't stick the visitors in the corner at our meets.
