The vault was difficult, it was "big" and it was stuck, however it was not perfect.

I think the issue is that judges "got stuck" by over scoring earlier vaults and had to give a 10.0 in order to reward Milliner.

Count me down as another fan that is NOT afraid to see good solid routines get scored 9.70 or even 9.50 so the best routines can be separated. I also think that some sort of ROV (Risk, Originality, & Virtuosity) type scoring makes a ton of sense for NCAA gym.

In terms of Vault particularly the time has come (several years ago actually) to DOWNGRADE the Y1/1. even if it is just to 9.95 to give some reward for those vaulters doing vaults that we all know are harder.
