I gotta agree with all the comments about the form of Milliner being in question with regards to a 10 final score but if you saw the amplitude on display by Alabama's top vaulters then I think you "get" why the judges scored them higher.  Fans cannot appreciate the amplitude as much on a video replay unless you are sitting right there where the judges are (or right behind them in the seats).  The Alabama radio commentators talked about this too - your eyes just keep traveling up and up when Gutierrez, Milliner and Sledge vault off that table (and last year, Hoffman). The judges are trained to reward that as well as deduct for form. But would agree that Milliner's was not a perfect 10 in the end, but damn fine vault regardless! smiley: eek
