So few athletes have any kind of signature originality in them nowadays...Sad, really. I wish NCAA code would find a better way to reward artistry, orginiality and beautiful gymnastics so we'd see more of it.

William mentioned Joy Selig, and Joy was also known for one of her signature moves on beam. I don't have a video to link, but it's a one-armed handstand. There's actually a bronze statue of it outside the gymnastics facility at Oregon State... and another interesting fact - Jim Stephenson, former head coach at Minnesota (he's now a volunteer assistant) sculpted the statue. :)
