Mini reports from the weekend New England meets and preliminary routine lists for UNH and Rutgers over on http://www.gymnasticsreport.net (but this isn't just a site plug.)
It looks like teams were either facing jitters or injuries/illness or other circumstances as all will likely see their scores go up from these performances based on past history. Oddly enough a lot of the teams had very good days on Beam which is normally the toughest event.
UNH is currently 36th but with some teams not competing they'll likely have to climb the ladder some more which is certainly possible. There's little doubt their scores can go up from where they were.
UNH, MIT, and SCSU all had newcomers contribute big time this weekend.
Next week half of New England will be down at Cortland, NY so if you're in the area you're in for a good meet!
ECAC D1 Champs the Towson Tigers will also be at Brown for the Bears season opener. Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my! Well no lions...
In the EAGL current Champion West Virginia's already staked a claim to first place so it'll be interesting to see if UNH or any other EAGLs teams can take the title away.
Will post as it comes together I'm also going to try to provide a floor music list for as many teams as possible. Since there's some overlap I can listen to streams from around the country and see if there's anything I recognize in the hopes of expanding knowledge of who's using what music.
